What is this all about?

This is a six-week course with weekly two-hour sessions you can attend from the comfort of your own home. The course focuses on how to create space to improve, that is, how to feel comfortable investing time and energy in improving. By the end, you will have the tools you need to cultivate the time, energy, and focus that you need to do great work.

How will it work?

Each week J. B. will guide the group in discussing a different book related to burnout. We will begin with a 10-minute presentation on one or two key ideas, then together with the group, you will discuss the points that astonished, intrigued, and affected you most. We will end each session with a few concluding remarks, suggestions about things to try, and the assignment for the coming week.

Why shouldn't I just read the books?

You could, but then you wouldn't have us to talk to, and you wouldn't have the benefit of at least one person who has learned the tricky details about putting the ideas into action. Besides, I'm not going to tell you which books unless you sign up for the course.

Why shouldn't I just start my own reading circle?
